Customer Guide – Delivery & Installation
Nepean Office Furniture is not a typical online retailer. We don’t use “buy now” buttons or stock items in bulk; instead, the majority of our products are Australian-made to order to your specifications. We handle all enquiries personally, providing detailed written quotes that include sizes, colours, fabrics, and configurations, including delivery costs based on quantity and location, to provide the most cost-effective solution. We handle everything from delivery to final setup. Our trained team ensures your office furniture is installed efficiently and professionally, providing a seamless experience that online retailers cannot. 
Sydney Metropolitan Deliveries
Our delivery team handles all deliveries within the Sydney metro area.
Our service includes:
Bringing your furniture into the designated room or space
Unpacking and assembling items (where applicable)
Assisting with furniture placement for the best fit
Removing all packaging and rubbish, leaving your space clean and ready to use
 
Delivery times: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. After-hours or Saturday delivery can be arranged with additional charges.
 
Express Office Furniture
Our Express Range comes typically boxed and ready for fast delivery directly from our manufacturer. Items can be delivered straight to your loading dock or reception area. Assembly is usually required for direct deliveries, but our team is available to deliver and assemble your furniture if you prefer a fully ready-to-use setup.
 
Australian-Made Custom Items
Our custom items are crafted locally, with lead times of 3–6 weeks depending on manufacturing and material availability. Items are delivered unpackaged, so we recommend using our own delivery service for local deliveries. For other areas, we work with specialised furniture transport companies that carefully handle and blanket-wrap each item
 
Delivery Costs:
Based on number of items, delivery address, distance, and building access
Fees reflect the actual cost of transport and installation
After-hours or Saturday deliveries incur additional charges
 
If You’re Not Available:
A re-delivery fee may apply if no one is available at the agreed delivery time.
 
Interstate Deliveries
We deliver to customers across Australia via third-party freight carriers.
Key points:
Full payment must be received before dispatch
Goods are transported at the purchaser’s risk; freight insurance is recommended
Items are carefully packed, wrapped, and secured; for custom items, specialised transport companies may be used
Delivery is typically curbside, loading dock, or reception area; assembly, placement, or installation is not included
Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on location and carrier schedules
Any additional costs arising from restricted access or special delivery requirements are the responsibility of the purchaser
 
Can I Arrange Pickup?
Orders can be collected from our showroom or directly from our manufacturing facility. Please note that many of our products are unpackaged. If you plan to organise your own transport company, please discuss packaging and palletising costs with our staff at the time of quoting to ensure safe transportation. If picking up from the showroom, please bring blankets to protect your Australian-made items.
